Dr. Fialk has a special focus in integrative orthopedics & sports medicine.

He enjoys working with athletes to help them perform to their full potential and to recover from injuries as quickly as possible.

Treatments may include one or a combination of the following:

• Acupuncture/Dry needling

• Cold Laser

  • Class 3b, Red and Infrared laser; increases rate of tissue healing while decreasing inflammation and pain.   ​

• Myofascial Release Therapy

  • Trigger point release

  • Strain-counter strain/PIR, Muscle energy technique.​

  • Percussive Massage Therapy (ie. Massage gun)​

• Cupping

  • Moving and/or isolated cupping to increase blood flow to target muscles and fascia.​

• Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation

  • Gua-sha, Graston

• Kinesio-taping

Other integrative health recommendations may also be made to optimize your healing and/or performance. Dr. Fialk can collaborate with others involved in your care to ensure your health needs and goals are met.

 

When it is in your best interest, Dr. Fialk will refer you to a physical therapist, osteopathic doctor, chiropractor or massage therapist for additional treatment.
